COOL IDEAS<br />
Our versatile cordials and spritzers make more than<br />
delicious drinks. Try these easy recipes for warm days<br />
CITRUS LOLLIES<br />
Make refreshing ice lollies by dissolving 100g<br />
sugar in 100ml warm water. Leave to cool, then<br />
add a bottle of Lemon and Rose Pressé,<br />
AED 18 (1.5ltr), or 2 cans of Sparkling Grape,<br />
Sicilian Lemon and Grapefruit, AED 18 (1ltr).<br />
Pour into lolly molds containing thin slices of<br />
strawberry or lemon, add a lolly stick and freeze<br />
overnight.<br />

Serve the granita with your<br />
favourite fresh fruits –<br />
mango and kiwi go well with<br />
mandarin – for a colourful<br />
and cooling dessert<br />
TROPICAL COOLERS<br />
Granita looks great in a tall glass. Dissolve 100g sugar<br />
in 100ml warm water. Cool, then mix with 2 cans of<br />
Sparkling Mandarin, AED 12 (250ml), and pour into a<br />
deep, freezer-proof dish. Freeze for 30 minutes, then<br />
remove from the freezer and rake with a fork. Return<br />
to the freezer. Repeat every 30 minutes, until it is<br />
frozen, with a slushy – but not watery – texture.<br />
FRUITY JELLIES<br />
Give a traditional party treat a twist by suspending fruit in<br />
jelly. Soak 5 gelatine leaves in cold water for 10 minutes.<br />
Squeeze out the excess water, add 75ml boiling water<br />
and stir to dissolve. Pour in a bottle of Sparkling British<br />
Elderflower Pressé, AED 18 (750ml). Divide 300g<br />
raspberries among 6 bowls or glasses, then pour in the<br />
jelly. Set in the fridge for 4 hours.<br />
