Alberto Besso (Bachét)<br />

Alberto Besso (Bachét) was born in Novara, Italy in 1943. A textile designer by pr<strong>of</strong>ession, he worked for many <strong>of</strong> Italy’s top fashion houses and was<br />
involved in <strong>the</strong> designing <strong>of</strong> fabrics, pattern-making and <strong>the</strong> manufacturing <strong>of</strong> clo<strong>the</strong>s. His passion for colour, drawing and painting began in 1962.<br />
Using a variety <strong>of</strong> self-taught techniques, Alberto creates works in watercolour, oil, and acrylic. He also enjoys relief painting and airbrushing. Alberto<br />
Besso Bachét has now retired to Portugal and lives close to where he met his wife over 44 years ago.<br />
