<strong>TUSA</strong>: About the artist<br />
Born in London, Dominique is the founding director of the <strong>Peace</strong> <strong>Project</strong>, a small organization<br />
that deals with conflict resolution in war zones. Other zones of conflict that the <strong>Peace</strong> <strong>Project</strong> has<br />
visited include Sarajevo during the siege, Kosovo during the crisis in 1999 and the Gaza Strip. In 1995<br />
Dominic was awarded the Liberte Prize for the Defense of Human Rights in Bosnia Herzogivinia and<br />
the European Union. His work was featured in the Emmy award winning film Exile in Sarajevo and in<br />
the Gaza Strip, <strong>Peace</strong> Initiative at the Erez Crossing in 1997 which was broadcast to an estimated 350<br />
million people around the world. He also organized a concert for 16000 refugees in Kukes, Albania in<br />
1999. He is currently the co-author and initiator of the Universal Declaration of Conflict Resolution,<br />
which was signed by Israeli and Palestinian dignitaries in Jerusalem in November 2002. He lives in<br />
Melbourne, Australia and regularly visits Russia and the Middle East.<br />
