PALM BEACH DRAW 1. This is a high/low draw poker game with a twist. 2. The game begins with a two unit ante. 3. Each player is dealt five cards and three down community card in the center of the table. 4. To open the hand with a two unit bet, a player may open on “Guts” alone. No pair required. 5. If the hand is not opened, cards are thrown in, players ante again, and a new hand is dealt. 6. After the hand is opened the dealer “Flops” the three community cards (three cards all at once). 7. After seeing the three flop cards, players have the option of drawing up to three cards from the dealer. This is done in rotation, starting with the player to the left of the dealer. Players MUST discard unwanted cards before getting their draw cards. 8. In forming their hand, players may use their five held cards only or they may combine their held cards with one, two, or three of the flop cards. 9. After each player has had the opportunity to draw new cards, a bet is made. 10. Players now declare which way they are going, using the coin in hand method. In this game, players may elect to go both ways by using one combination of five cards for high, and a different combination of five cards for low. 11. After declaring, the final two unit bet is made. 12. When all betting is completed, players show their cards and the winners are determined. NOTE: If the dealer runs out of cards during the draw phase of the game, cards which have been discarded are gathered, shuffled, and dealt. Players should keep their discards separated until they get their new cards to eliminate the possibility of being dealt cards they previously had held. 91
MAKE YOUR OWN <strong>WILD</strong> CARD 1. Each player is dealt five cards, face down. 2. The dealer arranges five community cards as follows: 3. The community cards are revealed one at a time, in random order. A Must Bet follows each of the community cards as they are revealed. The amount bet on each card is announced by the dealer prior to revealing any of the cards. 4. After seeing all of the community cards, the players decide which of their five held cards would make the best wild card and give them the strongest poker hand. The players who elect to remain in the hand, arrange their cards the way he/she wants them to appear to the other players as they roll each card.
