Prophecy About Iran<br />

As I write on this topic, I am reminded <strong>of</strong> a scene<br />

during the <strong>Battle</strong> <strong>of</strong> the Trench. A prophecy made <strong>by</strong> the<br />

Messenger <strong>of</strong> Allah ~ springs to mind.<br />

During that battle, the Muslims dug a trench to thwart an<br />

attack <strong>by</strong> the enemy. <strong>The</strong> Prophet ~ made each section <strong>of</strong> his<br />

community responsible for a part <strong>of</strong> the trench and he also<br />

worked with them. <strong>The</strong>y went out at dawn every day after<br />

the Prayers, and came home at twilight. Allah's Prophet ~<br />

would help both the Emigrants and the Helpers, sometimes<br />

with a pickaxe or shovel and sometimes as a carrier. He<br />

ordered that he should always be informed <strong>of</strong> any unusual<br />

difficulty wherever he was working. <strong>The</strong> first cry for help<br />

came from a Companion, who had dug down to a very hard
