Camille Flimn, managing director
and chief sugar artist of Cake
Couture Jamaica, has been making
bespoke cakes for diverse clientele
for more than five years. Although
wedding cakes are her specialty,
her talents extend way beyond that.
This self-taught artist stumbled
upon her profession when she
began making 3-dimensional
cakes for her
children’s birthday
parties. Attendees
were often wowed
by her designs and thus
began her illustrious cake
decorating journey.
This cake connoisseur has
been asked to make
edible art in the form
of cars, wines, buildings,
sports memorabilia,
handbags and even
a bucket of KFC! She
likes to work
with fondant,
pastillage and
gumpaste, as
well as royal
icing and chocolate.
