2Tanisha Ital ($10 million)<br />
Being a child of billionaire Lakshmi Ital definitely has<br />
its advantages. Bride-to-be Tanisha Ital is said to have<br />
sent wedding invitation cards made of gold to her<br />
guests. Around 1,200 guests received the invitation that<br />
was around twenty pages, hand-painted and included<br />
romantic poems. The invitation also provided information<br />
for each event that would take place during the<br />
five day celebration.<br />
3Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra ($6 million)<br />
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her beau Raj Kundra<br />
created royal square-shaped golden colored invitation<br />
cards. These were personalized with a beautiful royal<br />
intricate brooch with their initials ‘RS’ encrusted. The<br />
invites were sent in expensive envelopes with a brief<br />
detail of the venue and the cuisine.<br />
5Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput ($4.5 million)<br />
4Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan ($5 million)<br />
Up next is another Bollywood couple Aishwarya Rai<br />
and Abhishek Bachchanhad. Their invite comprised<br />
three parts tied together with a ribbon and placed<br />
in a big box. The first part of the invitation set<br />
contained a golden card with the emblem 'AA’,<br />
(the initials of the star couple), embossed on it in<br />
white gold.<br />
The second part of the card had Lord Ganesha<br />
embossed on it. This was followed by a few Indian<br />
verses printed in golden letters. The third part had<br />
lines from a poem written by Amitabh Bachchan’s<br />
father and a known poet, HarivanshraiBachchan.<br />
It also had pages containing the actual invitation to<br />
the wedding in both Hindi and English. Each invite<br />
was signed by the parents of the bride and groom<br />
to add a personal touch.<br />
The wedding invitation card sent by this Bollywood couple was designed by Delhi-based designer Ravish<br />
Kapoor. It was a cream/golden white and turquoise colour combination which was placed in an equally<br />
elegant custom made box along with handcrafted tea and honey. The reception invitation card was a<br />
