responded, I have served so many
others including princes, princesses,
governors and even presidents as
well as numerous other brides and
grooms elsewhere in the world. I
think it is time I brought some of
what I have learned and shared
with my fellow islanders.

Early Beginnings
I remember as a young girl, sitting
on the hill most people use to call
“Hopewell Bush,” looking out at
the sea and I would wish I knew
what was beyond the line there.
Little did I know a few short years
later, my life would take a turn for
me to experience way beyond
that horizon. It was while at North
Western Academy and St. James
Business School that I got the
entertaining bug so I went to work
for Village Tour and later became
one of the cover girls for Focus
on Jamaica. I learned all about
Jamaica taking tourists from one
end of the island to the other;
creating a fantastic experience for

our beatiful island had to offer.
Exciting
Island Experiences
One of the scariest things I
experienced on my tours was
watching Ross Kannaga jump
across the backs of crocodiles -
mouths wide open. Wow! But I
also experienced the picturesque,
poster card beauty of Jamaica from
coast to coast as I took visitors
rafting on the Rio Grande or walking
along the seven miles of our white
sand beaches in Negril. We picked
coffee beans along the hillsides of
