Here, Allaah openly attributes the beautification of faith in human hearts to Himself. á tûüÏZt6ø9$#ur Ïä!$|¡ÏiY9$# šÆÏB ÏN¨uqyg¤±9$# =ãm Ä¨$¨Z=Ï9 z`Îiƒã— â “Beautified for men is the love of things they covet; women and children.” (Soorah Aal ‘Imraan, 3: 14) However, in this verse the beautification of elements of Allaah’s creation which appeal to basic human desires is not attributed to Allaah. Instead it is just described as having been beautified. 18 á šcqè=yJ÷ètƒ (#qçR$Ÿ2 $tB ß`»sÜø‹¤±9$# ÞOßgs9 z`§ƒy—ur â “Satan beautified for them what they used to do.” (Soorah al-An‘aam, 6: 43) In this verse, the beautification of evil deeds is attributed openly to Satan, the active agent, who can only do so with Allaah’s permission.
