Give your child the care they need at Riverston Children’s Centre

If your child has special needs, chances
are, you are hard pressed to find a
school that ticks all the right boxes,
especially here in the UAE. Luckily, a
few have popped up to cater the demand for
schools that provide a high level of education.
The Riverston Children’s Centre for
Special Needs and Education recently
opened in Dubai to cater to these children in
a nurturing and guiding way. The joint
venture between Tarbia (part of Daud
Investments and the Belhasa Group) and
Riverston caters to the need of families who
need diagnosis and treatment for family
members with special needs. According to
the Centre, special needs falls into a broad
spectrum of categories ranging from autism
and dyslexia to issues such as the inability to
focus. The centre provides speech and
language therapy assessment and sessions,
screenings and consultations, while providing
its wards with a safe and encouraging
environment. Prospective students go
through centre-issued standardised tests that
determine the type of specialist best for the
child. Parents and children are prepared for
therapy and lessons, as it is recommended to
