CLINICAL/MEDICAL OPERATIONS<br />

The Clinical/Medical Operations team continues to succeed and grow in both clinical and education<br />

services, with a commitment to <strong>DFM</strong> QI. Key areas of focus included:<br />

Continuing to maximize clinical services for both optimized patient and family service opportunities and<br />

enhanced education for learners within the clinical setting<br />

Redesign and implementation of the Quality and Informatics Council<br />

Implementation of a patient engagement survey and patient engagement discussion working group<br />

Enhancement to the Quarterly <strong>Report</strong>, with the creation of an electronic dashboard<br />

The <strong>DFM</strong> has grown to provide a medical home to over 27,000 patients from Calgary and surrounding areas.<br />

Heatmaps generated by the <strong>DFM</strong> Strategic Quality<br />

and Informatics Dashboard (SQuID) depict the<br />

geographic areas from which patients at the <strong>DFM</strong><br />

Teaching Clinics are drawn.<br />

<strong>DFM</strong>’s teaching clinics continue to focus on the academic Patient Medical Home (PMH) and have provided<br />

educational experiences to over 200 learners through the three teaching clinics.<br />
