service is available to take<br />

calls before/after office<br />

Ukrainian Education (MPUE) is and what we<br />

are doing to enhance the learning experience<br />

for your child(ren)! Come learn more about<br />

the activities MPUE organizes and sponsors,<br />

such as fieldtrips for grades 4-8/9, for all<br />

children enrolled in the 12 English-Ukrainian<br />

Bilingual <strong>School</strong>s in Manitoba. We also can<br />

address questions and suggestions you may<br />

have regarding the English-Ukrainian<br />

Bilingual Program.<br />

At the meeting the Executive Board would<br />

like to discuss the possibility to change<br />

Section 6 Subsection e of the Constitution<br />

from "An Audited financial statement shall be<br />

presented based on the immediate past fiscal<br />

year at the Annual Meeting" to be " Financial<br />

offer a call-back program.<br />

This means that you will be<br />

called if your child is not at<br />

school and you have not<br />

informed us of his or her<br />

absence. Thank you!<br />

Statements will be reviewed on an<br />

annual basis by a professional<br />

accounting firm. These statements will<br />

be presented at the Annual Meeting."<br />

Nominations are now being accepted<br />

for all positions on the MPUE Executive<br />

Committee. If you, or someone you<br />

know is interested in a position on the<br />

Executive, contact the MPUE office at<br />

Recycle to Read Upcoming PAC Meetings<br />

The students in Room<br />

25 are collecting<br />

aluminum cans from<br />

September 15th to<br />

November 10th, 2011<br />

for the Recycle to Read<br />

campaign. 20 cents per<br />

pound will be used to<br />

purchase books for our<br />

school library and<br />

literacy lab.<br />

So start saving your pop<br />

cans and ask friends<br />

and relatives to help out<br />

too. Students can drop<br />

off aluminum cans to<br />

Room 25 in the morning<br />

or at lunch.<br />
