Come hear about what Manitoba Parents for
Ukrainian Education (MPUE) is and what we
are doing to enhance the learning experience
for your child(ren)! Come learn more about
the activities MPUE organizes and sponsors,
such as fieldtrips for grades 4-8/9, for all
children enrolled in the 12 English-Ukrainian
Bilingual Schools in Manitoba. We also can
address questions and suggestions you may
have regarding the English-Ukrainian
Bilingual Program.
At the meeting the Executive Board would
like to discuss the possibility to change
Section 6 Subsection e of the Constitution
from "An Audited financial statement shall be
presented based on the immediate past fiscal
year at the Annual Meeting" to be " Financial
offer a call-back program.
This means that you will be
called if your child is not at
school and you have not
informed us of his or her
absence. Thank you!
Statements will be reviewed on an
annual basis by a professional
accounting firm. These statements will
be presented at the Annual Meeting."
Nominations are now being accepted
for all positions on the MPUE Executive
Committee. If you, or someone you
know is interested in a position on the

Recycle to Read Upcoming PAC Meetings
The students in Room
25 are collecting
aluminum cans from
September 15th to
November 10th, 2011
for the Recycle to Read
campaign. 20 cents per
pound will be used to
purchase books for our
school library and
literacy lab.
So start saving your pop
cans and ask friends
and relatives to help out
too. Students can drop
off aluminum cans to
Room 25 in the morning
or at lunch.
