Become a Lion,
it's the right thing to do!
DAINFERN LIONS FOOTBALL CLUB
Jooste Van Der Westhuizen passed away earlier this year. His son shown in the pic, Jordan is a long
standing member of the Dainfern Lions Football Club and like his Dad and Chairman of the club, Nic
Papas, is a die hard Liverpool FC Supporter.
When his Daddy passed away Jordan wrote a letter for
his Daddy to give to God and in the letter he asks God
to let Liverpool win their next game which "they in fact
did".
This Act by the young Lion went viral on social media
all over the world. It was then that the current manager,
Jurgen Klopp wrote to Jordan personally and the entire
team sent him a sign shirt in the spirit of what LFC as
a club stand for which is "YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WALK
ALONE" (YNWA).
Subsequent to all this, Jordan has been selected to
represent the Gauteng Districts u13B team at the
Donosti Cup 2017 in Spain this July. He was chosen out
of 150 players after completing numerous trials. He has
also been selected to walk the South African teams out
at the opening ceremony holding our National Flag.
Good luck Jordan and from the entire Dainfern Lions
FC club always know, YNWA.
You his Mommy, Amor, who has taken a lot of negative
criticism from the detractors we also say You'll Never
Walk Alone and to his Sister Kylie, rise and show those
show jumpers out there what you are made of girl.
YNWA
If your child wants to play football then bring him or her along, aged 6 to 18, the Lions are waiting.
