July 1 st - Fulshear Farmers’ Market - The Farmers’ Market is every
Saturday from 9 AM-1 PM at 1093 at Bois d’Arc Lane, Fulshear, TX
77441 and offers a vast array of produce and food products that were
grown or produced within a 200 mile radius of Fulshear. The lineup
includes seasonal vegetables and fruit, fresh seafood, Artisian
breads, pastured Red Wattle pork, Dorper lamb, free range chicken,
pies, cookies, pastas, granolas, dried fruit and nuts, Houston Chili
Pepper Festival award-winning salsas, Wagyu Kobe beef, soaps,
toiletries, BBQ sauces, pickles and canned goods, Indian food, heat
and eat meals, locally roasted and blended coffees and more. You
will always find a delicious food truck or two, as well.
July 1 st -29 th - Bands on the Sand at Moody Gardens, 1 Hope Blvd.,
Galveston, TX. Enjoy this summer concert series on Friday and
Saturday nights from 6 to 10 PM featuring local and regional bands
ranging from R&B, rock, country and blues. The cost is $15 for
admission and each show concludes with a firework display over
Offats Bayou overlooking the Moody Gardens pyramids. For more

July 1 st -29 th - Tremont Jazz Series at The Tremont House, 2300
Mechanic St., Galveston, TX. Every Friday and Saturday, from 6 to
10 PM, enjoy live jazz by Trio du Jour in the hotel’s 1888 Toujouse
Bar. The Tremont House launched its Jazz Series in late September
2013 and it has become hugely popular with locals and guests. Trio
du Jour plays classic, acoustic jazz. The cost is free and for more

July 4 th - Freedom Over Texas - Celebrating 30 years of July 4 th
music, fireworks and fanfare on Buffalo Bayou, Houston’s signature
patriotic event will turn it WAY up with live performances, family
activities and stunning pyrotechnics Tuesday, July 4 th from 4 PM-10
PM. For the first time in the event’s history, the celebration will kick
off with a patriotic tribute by United States Air Force Band of the
West. Grammy-nominated and CMA-winning artist, HUNTER HAYES
will follow before multi-platinum selling, 2016 MTV Video Music
Award-winning DNCE takes the stage. As is tradition, the evening
will conclude with a spectacular blast of fireworks thanks to CITGO
who has provided the finale since 2015. This year, CITGO signed on
as a dual sponsor providing both the pyrotechnics and titling the

July 4 th - A Star Spangled Salute at the Miller Outdoor Theatre. Enjoy
an evening with Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski and
the Houston Symphony listening to patriotic, toe-tapping American
music. Make sure to stay until the end for the 1812 Overture -
complete with booming cannons! This celebration concludes
with a magnificent display of fireworks provided by Miller Theatre
Advisory Board. This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area.
Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last)
at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance
between the hours of 10:30 AM-1 PM. If tickets remain at 1 PM, the

box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the
remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill. For more

July 6 th - First Thursday Concert Series in Conroe at Heritage Place,
500 Metcalf Street, Conroe TX 77301. Invite your friends, bring
the family to relax to a variety of bands in this concert series held
every first Thursday in the months of April thru September. Get
comfortable, bring your chairs and blankets. OUTSIDE ALCOHOL
NOT PERMITTED. Beer and concessions available onsite. Water,

July 8 th - Music Nite on The Strand: Jason James at Saengerfest
Park, 2300 Strand, Galveston, TX. Music Nite on The Strand takes
place on the second Saturday of each month March through
October, 6 PM-9 PM. Presented by Mitchell Historic Properties and
The Galveston Island Convention & Visitors Bureau.
July 9 th - MetroPCS Galveston Summer Fest on East Beach, 1923
Boddecker Dr., Galveston, TX from 10 AM-4 PM. Come and join us at
Galveston Summer Fest presented by MetroPCS. Enjoy Music, Food,

July 19 th -23 rd - Join us for the Annual Houston World Series of Dog
Shows, the city’s premier canine extravaganza, held at NRG Center

July 22 nd - The 2 nd annual Fajita Festival 2017 is a celebration of
Mexican culture, food, drinks and entertainment at the Houston
Toros Soccer facility, 2202 Summer St., Houston, TX 77007 from 1-9
PM. General admission is $10 and $100 VIP. Come hungry with your
family and friends to enjoy a day filled with a variety of delicious
