GRAND VALLEY POWER MEMBERS ANNOUNCES<br />

BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTION RESULTS<br />

GRAND JUNCTION, CO. – (August 4, 2017) --- Grand Valley Power, an electric cooperative<br />

serving over 17,000 members in Mesa County and surrounding areas, announced today that<br />

the members have elected three directors to the Board - Janie VanWinkle, Don McClaskey and<br />

Robert Saunders. McClaskey and Saunders both ran as incumbents. The swearing in will be<br />

conducted at the August 16th monthly board meeting. Each will serve a three-year term and<br />

join six other board of directors this August.<br />

Here are the results of the ballot count for the 2017 Board of <strong>Director</strong>’s election as tallied by<br />

Chadwick, Steinkirchner, Davis & Co., P.C.:<br />

John Gormley<br />

1,483 votes<br />

1,405 votes<br />

1,194 votes<br />

1,186 votes<br />

The returned mail ballots were held in custody and then counted by the local CPA firm<br />

Chadwick, Steinkirchner, Davis & Co. Shareholders who had not voted by mail and attended<br />

the annual meeting on August 3rd, voted at the meeting.<br />
