GRAND VALLEY POWER MEMBERS ANNOUNCES
BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTION RESULTS
GRAND JUNCTION, CO. – (August 4, 2017) --- Grand Valley Power, an electric cooperative
serving over 17,000 members in Mesa County and surrounding areas, announced today that
the members have elected three directors to the Board - Janie VanWinkle, Don McClaskey and
Robert Saunders. McClaskey and Saunders both ran as incumbents. The swearing in will be
conducted at the August 16th monthly board meeting. Each will serve a three-year term and
join six other board of directors this August.
Here are the results of the ballot count for the 2017 Board of Director’s election as tallied by
Chadwick, Steinkirchner, Davis & Co., P.C.:

1,483 votes
1,405 votes
1,194 votes
1,186 votes
The returned mail ballots were held in custody and then counted by the local CPA firm
Chadwick, Steinkirchner, Davis & Co. Shareholders who had not voted by mail and attended
the annual meeting on August 3rd, voted at the meeting.
