renovation of the INSEP national sports
training centre in Paris under a PPP contract.

has won PPP contracts for more than
200 projects since 2003 with a combined
total value of more than €500 million. In

of the 90,000-sq. metre, 400-bed Mangot-
Vulcin Hospital in Martinique,
and is involved in several projects
Dock reconversion in Le Havre
VINCI Construction France is converting the former dockland warehouses
in the new urban renewal zone in Le Havre, France, on behalf of VINCI Immobilier.
For centuries, most of the coffee arriving in Europe was first stored in these
warehouses. The 66,000 sq. metre Vauban Docks will house around 60 shops
(including a dozen restaurants), a 12-theatre Gaumont cinema multiplex with
2,400 seats, and 1,100 parking spaces. The old support posts have been preserved for
decorative purposes, each being flanked by two new load-bearing pillars. The work,
with a total contract value of €67 million, will be completed at the end of 2008.

the Collège robert in Martinique
(a €20 million contract); the new teacher
training institute at Cayenne,
in French Guiana, together with the lycées
(upper secondary schools) at rémire,
Saint-Laurent du Maroni and Mana;
and the Collège tourtereaux on reunion
Island. In the United Kingdom, VINCI PLC
signed a £45 million (€58.9 million), 25-year
private finance initiative (PFI) contract to
build two new schools in Doncaster,
and it won a £32.3 million (€42.3 million)
contract to build a student residence hall
at the University of Lancaster.

VINCI PLC also began work on a major
restructuring of the royal Air Force site
at Northolt, outside London, involving
£106 million (€138.7 million) of work,
and continued to work on the national prison
renovation programme.
Also worth noting was the new €25 million
contract for the Medicover Hospital
in Warsaw, Poland, the largest private
hospital ever built in the country.
