buckram, screenprinted endpapers, unpaginated. This remarkable
artist’s book is a series of poems and thoughts which weave their way
through the pages in form of maps, a style of concrete poetry which
unfolds and reveals itself in the shape of a fractured street directory.
The book talks about how maps allow us to plan and plot our travels,
either literally through the modern city or figuratively as we map out
our lives. The entire contents are screenprinted and hand bound in
an edition of 12 with 2 artist’s proofs. A fascinating exploration of the
theme using cartography as a literary device.
