Welcome to the <strong>2014</strong><br />
summer edition of Derek<br />
Slack Motors news. As you<br />
are no doubt aware, the<br />
Tour de France recently<br />
visited the Yorkshire Dales<br />
bringing huge coverage<br />
of the SKODA brand who<br />
sponsored the event.<br />

To help celebrate the UK<br />
stages, SKODA launched<br />
limited edition 4x4 versions<br />
of the Yeti, Octavia and<br />
Superb. Each model<br />
featuring unique accessories<br />
for the keen cyclist and outdoor<br />
enthusiast.<br />
This year SKODA will become<br />
the first manufacturer to<br />
double sales in the UK in<br />
a five year period. SKODA<br />
have recently launched<br />
several new models as part<br />
of their expansion plans<br />
which also involve retailers<br />
incorporating new SKODA<br />
branding. Derek Slack Motors<br />
will commence their own<br />
showroom extension and<br />
refurbishment later in the<br />
year, making the family run<br />
dealership one of the largest<br />
SKODA facilities in the UK.<br />
“It’s an exciting time for<br />
SKODA and Derek Slack<br />
Motors”, said Tony Slack,<br />
Retailer Principal. “The site<br />
will be unrecognisable with<br />
a new facia, layout and<br />
SKODA’s sense of space.”<br />
Latest models include a new<br />
sporty Black Edition available<br />
across the complete range<br />
featuring, black alloy wheels,<br />
sunset glass, sat-nav, with<br />
an option of metallic black or<br />
pearl white paint.<br />
The successful rally<br />
inspired Fabia Monte Carlo<br />
specification is now also<br />
extended to include the Yeti<br />
and Citigo.<br />
The much anticipated third<br />
generation Octavia Scout,<br />
was recently launched and<br />
is now available to order<br />
followed later in the year<br />
by the latest range-topping<br />
Octavia Laurin & Klement<br />
special edition.<br />
Latest new 64 registration<br />
offers include, 0% APR<br />
finance, with free servicing<br />
on all but a few vehicles in<br />
the range.<br />
<strong>2014</strong> has also been a busy<br />
year for ISUZU with the<br />
introduction of the new<br />
range-topping D-Max ‘Blade’<br />
with the same class leading<br />
