National Side Saddle Show 2017

Victor enjoyed their first ever Nationals.
Sharing the ride with seasoned
campaigner, Louise Graham, Victor was
impressively placed in many of his
classes, including a 2nd in Mature Riders,
6th in the Coloureds and 3rd
Horsemanship piloted by Louise and
Andrea came home with a 10th in Intro
Dressage and 11th in Restricted Turnout.
Andrea commented that it had been a
steep learning curve and such an
educational weekend but she might not
enter quite so many classes another year
as it was quite a lot of hard work!
Amanda Chatfield (below), having watched her horse compete at Nationals the last few
years took on the challenge herself this year, choosing the Nationals as her first EVER
side saddle show – nothing like a challenge! A great routine gave her 4th place in Novice
Dressage to Music and then a 5th in the Newcomers.
