From here, cross the street and continue on foot, following the signs to “WaldHaus Freiburg”. Oekostation Freiburg The Oekostation - the centre for heightening environmental awareness with charme. A model ecological house with an exceptional architecture, a natural garden area with organic garden and herb garden invite visitors. The Oekostation offers events, seminars and workshops for the public. In cooperation with competent partners we develop innovative and attractive projects for enhancing awareness of the environment and sustainable development. As a place for non-formal education, the Oekostation offers many possibilities to become acquainted with nature and the environment in a practical way. So-called “green classrooms” are available for school groups. They are short, educational units (approx. 1.5 h) focusing on topics such as “Colorful Diversity from the Garden” or “Learn Sustainability - Live Sustainability”.
