Neuf-Brisach
The fortress town Neuf Brisach built by Vauban (1698-1703) lies half way between Colmar and Freiburg. Neuf Brisach with its
double defense ring is considered to be Vauban’s masterpiece and must not be missed as a destination on any sightseeing tour.
The fortress has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008.
