MUSEUMS
Air Force Space & Missile Museum:
Due to current security
restraints, tours of the museum are
temporarily suspended. However,
the History Center located off base
remains open. Admission is free
and no Cape access pass is needed.
The History Center, located just
outside the south gate of Cape
Canaveral Air Force Station contains
historic information and
displays for each Launch Complex
at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
When open, the Air Force
Space & Missile Museum focuses
primarily on the early unmanned
space program, with artifacts from
the 1950s and 1960s and a rocket
garden. The museum is usually
accessible to the public from the
“Cape Canaveral: Then and Now”
bus tour from Kennedy Space
Center Visitor Complex, which runs
7 days a week, launch schedule
permitting. The bus tour costs $25
for adults and $19 for children ages

American Police Hall of Fame
and Museum: The 50,000-squarefoot
facility at 6350 Horizon Drive,
Titusville, allows visitors to sit on
an electric chair, lie under a guillotine,
sit on a police motorcycle and
shoot a police weapon. Facility also
has a state-of-the-art indoor
shooting center. Hours are 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m. daily. Shooting range is
open noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday
through Friday and noon to 6 p.m.
on weekends. Admission is $13; $8
for children ages 4 to 12 and $10
for seniors and military; free for
children 3 and younger, members,
law enforcement officers and
police family survivors. Shooting
