Air Force Space & Missile Museum:<br />

Due to current security<br />

restraints, tours of the museum are<br />

temporarily suspended. However,<br />

the History Center located off base<br />

remains open. Admission is free<br />

and no Cape access pass is needed.<br />

The History Center, located just<br />

outside the south gate of Cape<br />

Canaveral Air Force Station contains<br />

historic information and<br />

displays for each Launch Complex<br />

at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.<br />

When open, the Air Force<br />

Space & Missile Museum focuses<br />

primarily on the early unmanned<br />

space program, with artifacts from<br />

the 1950s and 1960s and a rocket<br />

garden. The museum is usually<br />

accessible to the public from the<br />

“Cape Canaveral: Then and Now”<br />

bus tour from Kennedy Space<br />

Center Visitor Complex, which runs<br />

7 days a week, launch schedule<br />

permitting. The bus tour costs $25<br />

for adults and $19 for children ages<br />

American Police Hall of Fame<br />

and Museum: The 50,000-squarefoot<br />

facility at 6350 Horizon Drive,<br />

Titusville, allows visitors to sit on<br />

an electric chair, lie under a guillotine,<br />

sit on a police motorcycle and<br />

shoot a police weapon. Facility also<br />

has a state-of-the-art indoor<br />

shooting center. Hours are 10 a.m.<br />

to 6 p.m. daily. Shooting range is<br />

open noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday<br />

through Friday and noon to 6 p.m.<br />

on weekends. Admission is $13; $8<br />

for children ages 4 to 12 and $10<br />

for seniors and military; free for<br />

children 3 and younger, members,<br />

law enforcement officers and<br />

police family survivors. Shooting<br />

range combo admission is available<br />
