THE COLLEGE
TESTIMONIALS
Since starting the Sixth Form, having come from GHS, I have taken
full advantage of the sport, social and academic opportunities
available. I have been able to represent the school in the senior
Swim Squad and the Girls 1st XI Hockey team. I like spending time
in Ramshill which is a great social place during break time, but also
provides quieter areas for studying. I have also enjoyed representing
the school at the Physics Olympiad and I look forward to taking
up my place at Keble College, Oxford to study Engineering. Life
at Churcher’s College is as full as you want it to be. My subject
teachers and personal tutor have encouraged me to push myself
academically, but do so in a supportive way. I’m very happy here.
Holly Wright
I will be going to study medicine at Nottingham University. Throughout
my time at Churcher’s I’ve been provided lots of support, the school
runs a preparation course for medicine, including opportunities for
work experience through the school’s networking evening. Dr Verney
our careers adviser, also helped me to organise interview practice
which really helped to prepare for my medicine interviews. I’ve truly
enjoyed my time here at Churcher’s and they have given me great
support and guidance in order to help me achieve my future goals.

I joined Churcher’s in the Lower Sixth after moving from Bohunt
and already the opportunities that I have been presented with
have been incredible. I was invited to audition for this year’s
musical, Miss Saigon, before I even arrived at Churcher’s which
led to me being cast in a leading role. I have also taken part in
the Second rugby team and was recently elected as a prefect.
I have found the Sixth Form environment easy to settle into,
and the standard of teaching here is very high. Overall, I am
enjoying not only the academic side of school life but also the
extra-curricular and social sides of the Sixth Form.
