the Hoehn Family has done just that,
the original bakery opened in 1927
and had been pumping out delicious
treats ever since.
This German-based bakery uses
nothing but the finest ingredients and
never uses a preservative. Enjoying
fresh baked goods the way they were
originally meant to be eaten is a key
to the success of this Highlandtown
bakery. Sharon Hoehn- Hooper and
her cousin Larry Sahlender do the
majority of the baking in the shop, so
it stays a family bakery.
Our crew visited and utterly destroyed
a dozen donuts and washed
it down with a few cupcakes and a
German Chocolate cake. Everything
was delicious and fresh as expected
and well worth the visit.
