Kiwanis Club of Seven Lakes President
Elect Jerry Sink, presented Pam
Tighe, Director of Kids in Crisis, a
donation for $1,500 to help continue
their mission of helping Kids in
Crisis.
During each weekly meeting, Kiwanis
members have an opportunity
to speak about any event that has
enriched their personal lives, their
family lives, friends, neighbors,
sports, schools, you get the picture.
We call this part of our meeting
“Happy Dollars”.
Before each member speaks, they
drop any denomination of dollars
into the basket.
Over the course of a year, the money
really adds up.
The $1,500 donation came from
Happy Dollars.
Pam thanked the Kiwanis and
shared with us a story on how our
Happy Dollars made an impact with
one of the kids.
This was an extremely Happy Dollar
Day!!
