The Advanced Coatings Division’s products
are developed and manufactured
at its production sites in Europe, the
USA and Asia. All operations are ISO
9001:2000 as well as ISO 14001:2004
certified, which guarantees the superior
quality and reliability of its products.
In addition to this, the Attleboro (USA)
silver powder and flake manufacturing
site is ISO/TS 16949 certified.
Metalor provides a global solution to
meet the needs of companies operating
worldwide and adapting to highly
competitive trading conditions. In order
to respond to the increasing demand
for powders and flakes, Metalor has
expanded in 2009 its production site in
Suzhou, close to Shanghai in China, by
setting up additional and back-up production
capacity.
The acquisition in March 2011 of the
Coatings activities of the Japanese
company NECC will contribute to
strengthen our presence in Asia.

The Division offers a wide range of both
electrolytic and electroless precious-
metal plating products and processes
developed over many years. The plating
range is designed for both electronic
and decorative applications, ensuring
excellent technical performance in
terms of wear resistance combined with
high conductivity for electronic products
(connectors, printed circuits, semiconductors)
and a classic appearance for
decorative products (watches, jewelry,
leather goods and spectacles).

The Advanced Coatings Division
produces a comprehensive range of
precious-metal chemical compounds as
salts and solutions, as well as pure precious-metal
anodes and silver crystals.
