The skies above Paisley Abbey will be lit up by<br />
this spectacular display of fireworks following<br />
an afternoon of family fun!<br />
This year’s events has an 80s theme and<br />
some classic tunes from the 80s will be your<br />
soundtrack to this year’s display.<br />
The 80’s theme continues with our family fun<br />
afternoon in Paisley Town Hall including free<br />
classic arcade games including Asteriods,<br />
Pacman and Space Invaders.<br />
There will also be workshops and face painting<br />
for the children and a silent disco running<br />
across the afternoon.<br />
British soul legend Seal is coming to Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on 10th February<br />
and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 11th February 2018 in support of his<br />

The Arkleston Singers<br />
is a long established<br />
chamber (small) choir<br />
based in Paisley. We<br />
are a progressive<br />
choir and perform a<br />
variety of works, new<br />
and contemporary<br />
as well as popular<br />
favourites.<br />
We are looking for new members in all sections but particularly tenors and<br />
basses. Ability to read music is helpful but choral experience will also count.<br />
Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from September to May on a roughly<br />
fortnightly basis.<br />
We have an exciting session ahead which includes works by Paul Mealor, Erik<br />
Esenvalds, Ola Gjeilo, Freddie Mercury and Adele, under the baton of our young<br />
conductor, Marcus Kitchen.<br />
