- 8 - For furniture to be donated or for furniture we sell when a customer needs home delivery, Anne Foster (call or text 512-508-2599) will be the only liason between all parties and Adorian, our faithful transporter. If a customer needs a sold item delivered, while completing the SOLD ticket, call Carol with the customer name and phone number. Looking for people to work on Christmas pricing (group effort) 2nd & 4th Wednesday mornings. NEED people to work on purses (training provided) probably 4-6 hours a month Volunteers needed to work in processing Women's clothing and in Estate Sales. - 9 - VOLUNTEER GRANTS Did you know that many major corporations have grant programs that will donate funds to non-profits for service hours? The hours that you volunteer at the Thrift Shop or our philanthropic programs may qualify for grant funds. Please look over the attached list of the top ten volunteer grant companies and see if you would qualify for their programs. The company that you worked for prior to retirement may not be on this list but may also have a program that provides grants when you volunteer. Just ask. This is another way to support the Assistance League.
