VIETNAM INTERNATIONAL
TRAVEL MART (VITM) 2018
The Vietnam International
Travel Mart (VITM) 2018 is
scheduled to take place from
March 29 - April 1, 2018 at
the ICE Exhibition (91 Tran
Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi)
with the theme "Online
Travel" to promote the use
of technology in tourism
businesses. The Vietnam
Tourism Association will
co-ordinate with the Vietnam
E-commerce Association to
set-up an exhibition area of
over 40 booths dedicated
to online travel businesses
and providers of technology
solutions for tourism. In
addition, a seminar on the
development of e-commerce in
tourism will be held with the
participation of international
and national experts,
introducing experiences of
online tourism development
of technology businesses and
tourism enterprises such
as mobile internet, smart
applications, big data, virtual
reality, automation providers
for hospitality, tourism, travel
transportation businesses and
travel services.
7 TH DA LAT FLOWER
FESTIVAL
The 7 th Da Lat Flower Festival
with the theme "Da Lat
Flowers - Miracale from good
earth" will take place for 5
days from December 23-27.
This year Flower Festival
has 15 main programs, 14
supporting programs and 14
other programs which will be
held in Da Lat, Bao Loc and
other provinces along National
Highway 20. One highlight of
the program is to combine the
flower festival with Tea Culture
Week. Activities will be to
promote the festival's theme.
HUE
Lightening Hue Citadel is one
of Hue's projects to renovate
and restore Hue's historical
sites and attractions to attract
more visitors to Hue. About
1,000 led lights have been set-up
surrounding the Hue Citadel to
light this amazing architectural
work, creating a unique highlight
for Hue's landscape at night.
Along with other monuments in
Hue, the Citadel is a place that
had witnessed many important
historical periods, as well as
experienced the ups and downs
of this ancient land. This will
be a major highlight for visitors
who come to Hue in the late
afternoons and evenings, making
their visit to Hue much more
memorable.
BANGKOK AIRWAYS
Bangkok Airways has recently launched a new
direct flight from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi
Airport to Phu Quoc - Vietnam. With a total of
4 round-trip flights departing from Bangkok on
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays on a
72-seat ATR 72-600 aircraft, Bangkok Airways
will be the first airline to offer direct flights to
Phu Quoc island. The aim of this new launch
from Bangkok Airways is to provide better flight
connections for European, Thai and Vietnamese
customers as well as offering regional
connecting routes to Phu Quoc Island for its
long-haul codeshare partners. Not only will
it save time on flights, all Bangkok Airways
passengers will get to experience the same
excellent services at the Suvarnabhumi Airport's
waiting lounge such as free snacks, free wifi access,
as well as a kid's corner where parents can
leisurely play around with their children.

Starbucks Vietnam is opening its first Starbucks Reserve Coffee Bar in Ho Chi Minh City (11-13 Han Thuyen
Street, District 1), following the success of Starbucks Reserve in Hanoi. In addition to mainstream drinks,
customers will be introduced to the Starbucks Reserve bar for the first time, where the taste of your
familiar Espresso is enhanced thanks to the Black Eagle machine, creating a smooth, creamy and classy flavor.
