Santa’s Magical Kingdom is open
nightly from 5:30-10:30 p.m., including
all holidays, beginning Friday, Nov.
17 and running through Sunday, Jan. 7.
Located at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in
Eureka [west of Six Flags], Santa’s Magical
Kingdom is a drive-through holiday
light display featuring animated scenes,
special effects and more than four million
lights. Photos with Santa, train and
wagon rides, Kringle’s General Store and
the Stack Santa’s Sack toy drive, proudly
sponsored by West Newsmagazine, add
to the holiday fun. Toys will be donated
to the Salvation Army for distribution to
children in need. Admission is $22 per
car, truck or van; $30 for larger vehicles.
Admission for wagon and train rides is
$13 per person and includes admission
to the kingdom; reservations are encouraged.

Center is through Sunday, Dec. 24
in Des Peres. Santa can be found on
Level 1 near Macy’s. Pets are invited
to visit Santa from 6-9 p.m. on Mondays,
Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27. All pets
must be well-behaved, people-friendly
and on a leash or in a carrier. Santa’s
hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday
through Saturday and from 11 a.m.-6
p.m. on Sundays. Santa takes a break
to feed the reindeer from 1-2 p.m. and
5-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday,
and from 3-4 p.m. on Sundays.
Santa and his elves bring North Pole
magic to Saint Charles’ Historic Main
Street as part of the annual St. Charles
Christmas Traditions festival. Vistors
can step inside the beautiful historic
Katy Depot in Frontier Park and find
themselves magically transported to
Santa’s Cottage and Train Land.

taken with Santa, visit
with his elves and explore the magic
of Santa’s Train Land courtesy of the
Frenchtown Heritage Museum.
Santa arrives by train at Chesterfield
Mall at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18.
Heralding Santa’s arrival will be Circus
Kaput, who will entertain visitors from
10 a.m.-noon with face painting, a balloon
artist, penguin, reindeer and a juggling/unicycling
elf.
Taubman Prestige Outlets’ Fifth
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is
from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18.
Performers on the main stage, located
near Brooks Brothers, from 4-5:30 p.m.
include: Freedom Percussion Drumline,
After Dark A Capella, Krupinsky Academy,
Kelly’s Kuties, The Professional
Dance Center and The Muny Kids.
The Santa Parade steps off at 5:40
p.m. Other entertainment includes ice
carving demos, 4-6 p.m.; photos with
Santa in the Food Court, 4-5:40 p.m.
and 6:10-7 p.m.; balloon art, 4-7 p.m.;
and appearances by Fredbird and Team
Fredbird from 5:15-6 p.m. Hot cocoa
and cookies are served in the Food
Court from 6-7 p.m.
The city of Eureka’s Holiday Tree
Lighting celebration is from 5-8 p.m. on
Saturday, Nov. 18 in Old Town Eureka
on Central Avenue. Revelers enjoy free
children’s activities, complimentary hot
cocoa, cookies, carolers and a special
appearance from Santa Claus.
A Holiday Walk is from 10 a.m.-2:30
p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Kirkwood
Train Station, 110 W. Argonne
in Kirkwood. There will be activities
for children, holiday shopping, free
entertainment and refreshments.
