National Hispanic Scholars<br />
David Thompson Bailee Johnson Daniel Azuara<br />
Three St. John XXIII College Preparatory students were recently<br />
named in the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) for their<br />
performance on the 2016 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying<br />
Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and their grade point averages (GPA). Each year,<br />
the NHRP identifies nearly 5,000 of the highest-scoring students from<br />
a nationwide total of more than 250,000 juniors in the United States<br />
and U.S. Territories who take the PSAT/NMSQT and who designate<br />
themselves as at least one-quarter Hispanic/Latino. The NHRP Hispanic<br />
Scholars from St. John XXIII College Preparatory are Daniel Azuara,<br />
Bailee Johnson and David Thompson.<br />
Epiphany Lutheran School<br />
What a great year we are having here on campus and we want YOU to<br />
join us! Our students have participated in several events such as See<br />
You at The Pole, band performances at a partner high school, overnight<br />
Outdoor Education at Camp Lone Star, field trips and so much more.<br />
With our smaller class sizes (12-18) and intimate campus, we are able<br />
to engage the whole child, Mind, Body and Spirit.<br />
We have two scheduled campus Open Houses, 14423 West Rd. Houston,<br />
TX 77041. Plan to visit <strong>December</strong> 14th, 5:30-6:15 PM and stay for the<br />
Christmas concert! In 2018, January 24th, from 8:30 AM-12 PM is the<br />
next opportunity to spend “a day in life of a King,” tour our campus, sit<br />
in a class and meet with current parents to learn more about our Epiphany<br />
family. Applications for the 2018-19 school year will be accepted<br />
