g. Innovation Convention for the Primary 4 students, of
which every student was given the opportunity to invent new
products for our everyday life. This has provided them with
the opportunity to display their inventive spirit and entrepreneurship,
preparing them for the job market.
h. The production of “Jungle Book” was a huge success
and what made it more memorable was the artistes were
mainly from the lower primary and these students were really
great as they demonstrated confidence and articulated well.
I am also proud to congratulate our students for the following
excellent external achievements:
a. SISB took part in the International Singapore Math
Competition for the second year. More than 12000 students
from all over the world participated in this competition. In
total, we acquired 11 Gold, 10 Silver and 11 Bronze medals,
the largest number of medals in Thailand, emerging Champion
amongst the schools in Thailand. We also emerged as the
Champion school in Thailand, beating over 12,000 students.
b. Numerous awards from Sports:
1st Futsal U9 ISAA,
1st Futsal U9 ISAA
1st Swimming Under 9 ISAA
2nd Swimming Under 11 ISAA
2nd Overall Swimming with a total of 30 gold, 48 silver and
19 bronze medals
Many awards in Gymnastics and other external competitions
I would like to specially credit the members of the PST whose
contributions have added another dimension to the vibrancy
of SISB. Your presence at all our functions, your support at
the Family Fun Fair have greatly benefited the fun learning
aspect of education. You have played a critical role in complementing
us. It has also provided the platform for family
bonding as well as networking amongst the parents. We
are elated that the present committee would be staying and
more parents have come on board. Well done, PST! We hope
to see more of you next year.
