P6 HOPE
Amal Ahmed Mahmood Bazara
I first joined SISB in Primary 5, Term 3. It was hard to catch up on
what they have learnt because the curriculum was different. Learning
Chinese for the first time was not that easy. It is hard to understand
the language that we do not speak regularly. The time has
flown by so fast and now I am in Primary Six. Primary Six has been
the most stressful year because we need to prepare for iPSLE. I will
try my best to achieve good scores in iPSLE to make my parents
happy and be proud of me because they spend a lot of time to teach
and provide for me.
I like the learning experience in SISB. I have improved a lot in my
English over the years. The friends in SISB are so kind, friendly and
funny. The saddest experience was when my best friend Punch and
Mod move to another school. I was so sad because I had no friends
but Cindy asked me to be friends with her and now we are best
friends.
Last but not least, I want to thank all the teachers who have taught
me in my short stay here. They were all lovely to be around and they
have strived to bring out the best in my studies and especially I want
to thank T. Matthew and T. Evelyn for being my homeroom teachers
over the past two years. They both have helped me in everything
and I am looking forwrd to the Secondary School life and I will miss
my time here for sure.
Pattriga Sae-Wang
I joined SISB since K2, Term 3. At first, I felt very depressed when I
first moved here because I could not catch up with my classmates.
My homeroom teacher and TA were very nice to me, they helped
me everytime that I need help. I am happy that I achieved being a
prefect. I have good times with my friends in the school. All of my
friends were very kind and very nice. Some of them are very funny
and always me laugh till I cry, I liked the Residential Trips the most.
Those few days I spent are truly memorable. In my Primary Six residential
trip, I actually got a reward for being a good camper. Lastly,I
would like to thank all of my teachers for putting in a lot of effort to
teach me and my friends.
Natcha Sirisakulthong
I joined SISB in Primary Six Term3. First day of my new school was
little bit cringy because I didn’t know and I have never taken a school
tour before. I managed to make two friends when my first day started
so - lucky me! My friends asked me for my name and they introduced
themselves as Amula and Cindy, respectively. So I guess
you already know who my good friends are. My first subject at SISB
is Chinese and I did not understand anything (even now), my Chinese
teacher is kind and helpful to me and I hope I will improve my
Chinese. I was confused why they call the classes Hope. like Joy,
Peace, Love instead of 6/1, 6/2, 6/3. Well, now I have grown used
to it. When it was my birthday, I decided to bring a birthday cake to
school, couple of my friends joined to eat my cake with me and other
class and teachers joined too. Overall of my experience was great!
I would like to thank all the subject teachers for teaching me even
though I am still very much a newbie.
