Thank You <strong>Swaffham</strong><br />
Mary Bortkiewicz came to live in<br />
<strong>Swaffham</strong> in April 2016 after her<br />
third stroke. She sadly passed<br />
away on 10th November 2017.<br />
During her time in <strong>Swaffham</strong><br />
she was made very welcome<br />
and was touched by people’s<br />
thoughtfulness and kindness. In<br />
particular, we would like to thank<br />
all the team at The Paddocks<br />
Care Home (past and present),<br />
where mum passed away for all<br />
the care given not only to mum,<br />
but to us especially during those last days and nights.<br />
A big thank you also to Father Gordon, Lissa and the<br />
sisters, who visited mum and brought her a lot of spiritual<br />
comfort. Thank you to the congregation at Our Lady of<br />
Pity RC Church for making mum so welcome and all your<br />
help getting mum in and out of the church.<br />
Thank you to Georgie and the team at the Merle Boddy<br />
Day Centre for making Tuesdays such a lot of fun. Mum<br />
never laughed so much.<br />
Thank you to Dr Lawrence and the Campingland Surgery<br />
and, of course, our kind neighbours.<br />
A fond thank you also to Darren and Dean at The Fox and<br />
Hounds in Weasenham and the many others, who would<br />
always go out of their way to make mum feel welcome.<br />
It is typical of <strong>Swaffham</strong>, but nonetheless much<br />
appreciated. Thank you and wish you all a happy 2018,<br />
