Breckland Astronomical Society Meeting

of their regular monthly meetings. A varied programme of talks and presentations

New to Norfolk Exhibition
Customs House, Purfleet Quay, King’s Lynn PE30 1HP 1 December 2017 to 28
February 2018. This exhibition represents photographer Simon Bratt’s fresh view of
Norfolk after living in the county for just one year.
Simon’s photographs are inspired by the diversity of the countryside. He said:
“Having lived through one year’s seasons, fully immersed in Norfolk life, it has not
disappointed one iota, and we love it here. I love the distant views that hedge-free
arable farming allows and the endless and ever-changing big skies.
The numerous vast swathes of golden sandy beaches are breathtaking. Each day
begins with a sense of adventure and impatience as I spend time researching,
location planning and shortlisting where to explore to best capture the essence
of Norfolk in photography. I hope my images will do justice to the unique and
attractive scenery of this beautiful county”.

There are very few of us today who do not spend much of our time feeling tense.
The hectic pace of modern living and lack of exercise leaves us tired and exhausted.
You need some form of exercise that gently and steadily relaxes the body, and most
importantly refreshes the mind!
Tai chi is an exercise that develops both the physical, mental, external and internal
health of the body; it also achieves well-being and balance in your life!
