Guillermo Nagore, the famous Spanish
journalist, launched an exciting project
on March 18, 2012 to encourage the
government to establish an improved
policy on Alzheimer’s disease.
The project consists of walking the original historic
Jacobs path from the Finisterre lighthouse in Spain
to Jerusalem. On the way he will gather stories of
people who directly or indirectly suffer the scourge of
Alzheimer’s.
La Memoria es el Camino, or “Memory is the Road”, is
part of the awareness and information sharing policy
being carried out by CEAFA (Spanish Confederation of
Associations of Families of People with Alzheimer’s and
other dementias), which aims to increase awareness
of these important issues by giving a voice to those
affected.
Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia,
Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon,
Jordan and Israel are the destinations for this adventure.
SUNSTROOM is the main sponsor and companion
of Guillermo Nagore on this journey. SUNSTROOM
