Ascom i75 VoWiFi handset
The Ascom i75 VoWiFi handset is a wireless 802.11
telephone available in three variants: the Protector,
the Medic Protector, and the Messenger model.
The Protector and Medic Protector variants include
personal alarming, text messaging, push-to-talk
and voice services. The Messenger variant includes
text messaging and voice services only. All variants
are robust units designed to function in tough en -
vironments such as healthcare, secure establishments
or manufacturing industry.
The handsets are standards-based and support
advanced WiFi features for long battery life, high
speech quality and high security. An embedded
Ekahau client enables possibilities to use locationbased
services over any generation of WiFi networks.

Combining Siemens HiPath IP-PBX platforms together
with Ascom i75 VoWiFi handsets allows our
customers the opportunity to utilize Siemens feature-rich
and scalable call control architecture and
Ascom’s rugged, purpose-built wireless i75 handsets.
The Ascom i75 handsets integrate to the Siemens
HiPath platforms via SIP to enable wireless telephony.
Wireless messaging and wireless personal
alarm is supported and handled independently of

equipped to communicate with a comprehensive
range of external sources, including building management
systems, hospital systems and production

can be managed remotely from one single interface
