FROM
THE
EDITOR’S
DESK
SOME RELIEF is on its way for
those in need at Scarborough
Park.
We reveal today on page 1 that
$100,000 may be put aside by the
city council to build changing
rooms at the popular park – and
that will be money well spent.
At the moment people are
changing in the toilets and that’s
causing a few issues for those who
need them for what they were
built for.
Scarborough is hugely popular
so it’s a no-brainer to put changing
sheds in.
Top marks to Sumner Running
Club athletes who stood out at the
Canterbury children’s championships
in Timaru.
We have a great shot on page 1
of Caleb Sutter, and more coverage
on page 15.
Many thanks to the club for
sending in details and photos of
its efforts at the championships.
