science at UCT. Her<br />

Thomas Stott from<br />

Grahamstown obtained<br />

five distinctions in<br />

Afrikaans, engineering<br />

and graphic design<br />

(EGD), IT, mathematics<br />

and physical sciences.<br />

Stott won a scholarship<br />

to Rhodes University for<br />

his tertiary studies and<br />

plans to study a BSc with<br />

specific focus on<br />

computer science,<br />

mathematics and<br />

physics. He hopes that<br />

these studies will lay the<br />

foundation for him to<br />

become an engineer.<br />

Alexander Griplas from<br />

Tanzania obtained five<br />

distinctions in<br />

accounting, economics,<br />

geography, LO and<br />

mathematics. Griplas<br />

plans to study economics<br />

and finance abroad in<br />

Europe, either in England<br />

or Italy.<br />
