Brushing also wrecks the curl pattern by breaking up the hair strands that are forming the curls. These groups of hairs are called “clumps”. Breaking up the clumps will make the hair totally frizz out.” “When a curl resists the brush, it can yank the hair out at the root or break it into split ends or most likely both. Always detangle the hair wet, preferably with conditioner in it so it has some kind of protective coating it.” Louise loves styling hair and it shows with every cut.
