SOUTHERN VIEW
Children in Linwood have been keeping entertained over the school holidays
thanks to Youthtown. The not-for-profit organisation ran a holiday programme
at Linwood Avenue School and the children were kept busy with activities.
ROWING: As part of the holiday programme, Potahi Harris, Ben
O’Neill, Ben Martin, Bob Anderson, Ashley Ouwerkerk, Hiamoe
Harris, Phoebe Rose and Rowan Coudret went canoeing on the
Avon River.
TAKING A DIP: During a trip to Lake Daniells, Mitchell Perrim, Jamie Lee Wooddin, Sam Lee and
Karl Wooddin took a dip to cool off, while Youthtown chief executive, Paula Kearns, dipped her
toes.
CLIMB: Ashley Allen enjoyed climbing the
rope and learning gymnastics during her
school holiday break.
SANDY: Paris Hiku was covered in sand
when she went to Taylors Mistake.
LAKE SIDE: These boys escaped Christchurch to enjoy Lake Daniells.
