Collins – she’s one heck of a plucky<br />
13-year-old.<br />
Life threatening conditions, yet<br />
she still has time for a huge smile<br />
for the camera (see page 1).<br />
Maddie’s health battles have<br />
been documented a lot over the<br />
past year as her family tries to raise<br />
$350,000 for kidney treatment in<br />
the United States.<br />
More than $80,000 has so far<br />
been raised but there’s a lot more<br />
needed.<br />
She’s earmarked to go there next<br />
month, the first step in what will<br />
be a long – and hopefully – successful<br />
process.<br />
