Medbury’s fundraiser for Syria<br />

PUPILS FROM Medbury<br />

School went running to raise<br />

money for Syria.<br />

As part of the school’s<br />

community service<br />

programme, the pupils<br />

ran a 12-hour fundraising<br />

initiative last week to support<br />

the World Vision 40 Hour<br />

Famine.<br />

Modelled on the Relay for<br />

Life, the walk went from 6am<br />

until 6pm and raised $22,000<br />

to help support the refugee<br />

crisis in Syria.<br />

All year 1 to 8 pupils,<br />
