New branding,<br />
new products<br />
for family-run<br />
health food co<br />
The family-owned and locally operated<br />
New Zealand Health Food Company<br />
(NZHF) has seen steady growth since its<br />
launch in <strong>19</strong>88.<br />
The company was founded by Rob<br />
Haines as a way to introduce indigenous<br />
products and nutritious ingredients<br />
to New Zealand and the rest of the<br />
world. He began creating product<br />
lines that took advantage of New<br />
Zealand’s diverse landscape and<br />
pristine ocean waters, including two<br />
collections of natural supplements,<br />
Kiwi Natural Health and New Zealand<br />
Health Food. These were followed by<br />
KNH, another natural supplement line,<br />
along with Manuka South, which includes<br />
products that focus on the healing powers<br />
of honey.<br />
Now NZHF is introducing some new<br />
products – including a long-awaited<br />
new line of Manuka honey – and also<br />
rebranding itself to reaffirm its place<br />
as one of the country’s most popular<br />
providers of supplements, super foods and<br />
skincare.<br />
The rebranding is designed to reflect<br />
the growth NZHF has experienced since<br />
its inception, with the company’s mission<br />
being to continue providing a one-stop<br />
shop for health-focused, high-quality<br />
products including supplements, super<br />
foods, skincare products, sports nutrition<br />
and weight management, as well as<br />
essential oils.<br />
Many are produced using locally<br />
sourced ingredients, with the company’s<br />
exports helping to introduce the rest of<br />
the world to the health benefits offered by<br />
the nutrient-dense offerings that are part<br />
of New Zealand’s diverse landscape.<br />
The centrepiece of NZHF’s<br />
rebranding efforts is a new<br />
logo, which is an updated, more<br />
contemporary version of the<br />
company’s original lotus flower.<br />
The rebranding also includes<br />
an updated, easier to navigate<br />
website that will not only include<br />
current tools such as a chat box and links<br />
to social media, but also new features<br />
and a design that will make it easier for<br />
customers to find the right products to<br />
reach their optimum health goals.<br />
Over the three decades that NZHF<br />
has been in operation, it has remained<br />
privately owned and locally operated. Rob<br />
Haines, along with his son, two daughters<br />
and son-in-law, are all an integral part<br />
of the business and strive to provide<br />
quality products at an affordable price, so<br />
that health and wellness are available to<br />
everyone.<br />
Both online and at the retail store,<br />
they and their knowledgeable staff are<br />
