Showgrounds on <strong>March</strong> 25 and 26.<br />

member Jonty Ward said: “This is to<br />

celebrate 175 years of the Case farm<br />

machinery company.<br />

“The five machines are coming from<br />

as far as Wanaka for the event.”<br />

He said several rare exhibits had been<br />

entered in the fair, including some in<br />

the vintage and classic car section.<br />

years of the women’s institute in<br />

New Zealand, federations around<br />

the country have been tasked with<br />

installing a seat for their community<br />

to enjoy. At the ceremony, the<br />

ribbon was cut by long-time Lincoln<br />

Women’s Institute member Frances<br />

Fox. The seat was made locally from<br />

macrocarpa and put in place on<br />

Jimmy Adams Dr. The Canterbury<br />

east federation includes Lincoln,<br />

Ladbrooks, Prebbleton, Springston<br />

and Oaklands.<br />
