Katy Taste Fest, the city’s first festival for foodies will again be held<br />
at Villagio Town Center March 24, <strong>2018</strong>, 11 AM-2 PM. The festival<br />
celebrates all things food from some of the best Katy restaurants. It is<br />
a foodies’ paradise with emphasis on food, family and fun. The festival<br />
will focus on celebrating the diversity of the local restaurant scene with<br />
bites from 30 local restaurants, cooking demonstrations, beer/wine,<br />
a large kids zone, live entertainment and a silent auction. Fun for the<br />
whole family! Our inaugural event was a HUGE success with more than<br />
800 attendees and raised more than $13,000 for our local non-profit<br />
partners. We aim to exceed that number in <strong>2018</strong>!<br />
NEW: This year’s event will feature a VIP Jazz Brunch: This is an<br />
opportunity to discover your new go-to favorites while savoring<br />
comfort foods you’ve loved for years. We have something for everyone<br />
from adults to kids. Katy Taste Fest has partnered with several local<br />
nonprofits that focus on abused, neglected and abandoned children<br />
including Katy Cares, Krause Children’s Center and Armor of Hope<br />

About Katy Taste Fest: Katy Taste Fest aspires to turn tasters into diners.<br />
The festival explores the city’s diverse dining scene by sampling tastes<br />
from local restaurants. Attendees can enjoy cooking demonstrations,<br />
live entertainment, a silent auction and family-friendly activities for<br />
food lovers of all ages. Katy Taste Fest supports several local charities<br />
that focus on vulnerable children, including Katy Cares, ZOE, Krause<br />
Children’s Center, Helping Kids Ministry and Armor of Hope Foundation.<br />

Association, Inc. (ACA), is<br />
inviting artists from around the<br />
country to submit applications<br />
and have the opportunity to showcase their art at the nation’s premier<br />
spring outdoor fine art event Friday-Sunday, March 23-25, <strong>2018</strong>.<br />
ACA produces Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park in the spring and<br />
Bayou City Art Festival Downtown in the fall. Now entering its 47 th year,<br />
ACA has provided a venue for over 20,000 artists to showcase their<br />
work to thousands of art lovers from all over the world. Patrons have<br />
the opportunity to personally meet the artist, view original works and<br />
purchase world class art. The festival benefits local non-profits and<br />
features music, food, beverages, entertainment, a Children’s Creative<br />
Zone and much more for people of all ages to come and enjoy the city<br />
and the festival.<br />
Twice a year, over 1,000 qualified applicants from 19 different disciples<br />
submit their applications to be reviewed by the ACA jurors. For each<br />
festival, a new juror panel is invited and consists of artists, collectors<br />
and industry professionals. The panel of five to seven jurors are<br />
selected based on their specific interests, professional knowledge and<br />
