SELWYN TIMES
HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
Children throughout Selwyn have been far from bored these school
holidays.
They have been busy taking part in the Busy Bumbles holiday
programmes based in Lincoln, Rolleston, Leeston and Darfield.
A day inspired by the fantasy/adventure film Trolls was held with
children making troll headbands and edible bark.
Other activities held throughout the week included children
from Busy Bumbles Leeston taking part in a “cereal challenge” and
“chocolate bomb challenge”.
Lincoln Busy Bumbles children took part in a “Knights, Dragons
and Castles” day while Busy Bumbles Darfield children travelled to
The Toy Collector in Christchurch.
DRESSED UP: Zoe Livingstone and Samuel Holmes in costume for a “wild and wacky”
Wednesday at Leeston Busy Bumbles. (Right) – Jonty Carson in the “chocolate bomb challenge.”
CREATIVE: Dan O’Connor, John White and Ivy Lange making
models as part of a “Knights, Dragons and Castles Day” held at
Lincoln Busy Bumbles last Tuesday.
