30 hours FREE ECE
Not only do children get a wonderful educational start at Giggles
and Scribbles, now it’s even easier on the pocket.
All children three years or older can now learn and play at the
childcare centre for up to 30 hours per week for free*.
“We understand that for some families money can be tight,
at Giggles and Scribbles we believe in equality of education -
giving all children more access to high quality early childhood
education” says Giggles and Scribbles director and owner
Sonya Cookeson.
“The centre has been open for over a year now and the
wonderful support that we have had from the local community
means that we are now in a position to give a little bit back”.
“We know how hard it can be for working families and It’s
always been important to me that all children have equal
access to a high quality early childhood education.”
At Giggles and Scribbles they believe that their job is not just to
prepare children intellectually for school but also, and perhaps
more importantly, to develop them emotionally and socially.
They aim to work alongside families to help develop and
instil solid moral values that will prepare children to be kind,
thoughtful and decent human beings.

programme for children over 4 years of age. This programme
is run in house by primary trained teachers.

provide a balance of equipment and resources that challenge
the thought process of children. Some of the equipment and
resources have a specific and intentional outcome. Children
gain a sense of achievement and accomplishment from
completing the activity, progressing their learning forward.

Giggles and Scribbles philosophy focuses on providing
