Stellar act for <strong>Selwyn</strong> Sounds<br />

BOH RUNGA has been busy<br />
with her new jewellery store in<br />
Ponsonby, Auckland.<br />
But on March 3 she’ll be getting<br />
Stellar back together and<br />
heading to Lincoln Domain for<br />
<strong>Selwyn</strong> Sounds.<br />
The day-long music<br />
festival follows last year’s<br />
inaugural event, which saw<br />
Kiwi music heavyweights the<br />
Jordan Luck Band, Mi-Sex<br />
CheCk out theSe<br />
and Dragon play to a crowd of<br />
about 8000.<br />
Growing up in Hornby<br />
with sister Bic, Runga said she<br />
hadn’t spent much time in the<br />
small town but had been to<br />
several of Lincoln University’s<br />
notorious parties.<br />
“My father went to Lincoln<br />
College but I just went to parties,”<br />
she said.<br />
She’s looking forward to<br />
playing so close to home, she<br />
said “people are always happy<br />
you’ve come to play.”<br />
But Stellar isn’t officially<br />
back together. The March<br />
festival could be a bit of a test,<br />
Runga hasn’t ruled out a full<br />
reunion.<br />
“I’m not sure if we are back<br />
together per se, we are doing<br />
some gigs and we always had<br />
fun doing that. We’ll see where<br />
us hanging out again leads,”<br />
Runga said.<br />
