<strong>The</strong>re was a buzz of excitement at Horncastle Arena as music lovers gathered for an<br />
evening of pure bliss. As well as the concert, supporters and sponsors of the New Zealand<br />
Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) attended a cocktail party to mingle with friends old and<br />
new. <strong>The</strong> chat was of the season ahead and this evening’s programme featuring the<br />
works of Lilburn, Brahms and concluding with the mighty Beethoven. Good company<br />
plus the music of the masters, created an occasion to remember and the anticipation<br />
for next time.<br />
